ReflectionCreating a PowerPoint presentation is by far one of the coolest things that I like doing when it comes to assignments. I thoroughly enjoyed adding sparkles of everything that we have worked on for the proposed subject. It may take a lot of effort to build the ideas in the presentation and making sure it attracts your audience. Another key idea of building a  PowerPoint presentation is that you have to provide your audience with visuals that are practical. It can’t be childish as your audience will invest money in your proposal. However, it can have ideas that are humorous. We had a lot of fun working on this project as it is not very easy to grasp the mechanical aspect of the proposal for someone who has no idea how certain parts of a crane work for example. At last, this assignment was one of the last assignments that we worked on as a team; it gives me so much joy seeing how each of us progressed and stayed together through it all.

ReflectionTo make a proposal, it is important to have the right intention and plan to implement the proposal. As a group, we made a proposal for creating an automated vertical car parking system at City College of New York. We thought it was important to build something on campus that can help the students and the faculty members. It was an amazing experience working on this project with my team members. We presented each of our ideas to create something beautiful. When we work in groups, some give their best and some don’t do anything. It was different in our case; we made a group chat and talked about our ideas and how we can make it worthwhile. We also exchanged our papers with other groups for them to give feedback and for them to see our ideas with a fresh set of eyes. I found that very helpful and engaging. Lastly, I met some great people through this team whom I can cherish forever.

Reflection: Creating a red cabbage indicator is a very interesting experiment to perform when you want to explore how certain products react when it comes in contact with natural  indicators. These products can be easily be found in your household. Working on this project was an amazing experience for me as I got the chance to experience the color change when the products are added with the red cabbage juice. Red cabbage is a natural indicator that can be used to find out the acidity and basicity of products. When baking soda is added to the cabbage juice, it changes the color from purple to dark blue indicating that it’s a base. Tap water keeps the cabbage water purple indicating that it’s a neutral solution. Vinegar turns the color into bright red and lemon juice changes the color into light pink indicating that they are acidic solutions. While writing the lab report, I got to speak with my peers about the paper and they corrected my mistakes. I found the peer editing session very helpful as I got to see what I was doing and how I can make my writing more professional.
